Lir Café Bar is Ballaghaderreen's most popular late bar and entertainment venue, which also offers superior dining and luxury accommodation.

Opened in late 2007, this stylish Café Bar on Market Street inherits its theme from the Children of Lir, a legendary fable in traditional Irish mythology with close ties to the area of North Roscommon. 

Lir Café Bar's commitment to the culture and history of the region can be seen in our menu, as we fuse local produce with contemporary creativity to produce a special blend of culture, tradition and innovation.

We have live music every Friday night, with a live DJ set every Saturday night until late.  We will also be running outdoor concerts throughout the Summer, so check out our entertainment schedule to see who we've got lined up this month.
